About the event
How do we relate to the living world around us? In spring, it's such a wonder to see the natural world come to life (humans included!). What’re the barriers between our bodies and the bodies of those who we relate to? How do we move? How do they move? How do we exist? How do they exist? How do we breathe? How do they breathe?
Inspired by the writing of, author and marine scientist, Sabrina Imbler, and Erin's encounters with many types of turtles and tortoises over the past six months, this workshop will center on our relationships with the natural world and what that could teach us about ourselves.
Workshop will include some optional pre-reading suggestions and a curated playlist for the practice.
Here’s a rough sketch of the structure we’ll follow:
20 min: opening reflective question/ discussion
60 min: yoga practice, including meditation, pranayama, and asana
